Acupuncture

Nathan grew up in the rural Midwest, the son of a Hospice Nurse. He later moved to Colorado where he was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Nate trained in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tui Na massage therapy. Graduating with an MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine, he earned his NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture and his Colorado license to practice. Before becoming involved with SweetLeaf, Nate maintained a private Acupuncture practice in Lakewood, CO. He was initially drawn to TCM through a combination of his own experiences with alternative medicine and his interest in the subtle energies of eastern martial arts. Nate is available to answer any questions you may have about Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Massage Therapy
Kelli is 23 years old and originally from Aurora, Co. She spent about four years in Steamboat Springs and that is where her love for music, nature, and a general way of alternative healing started to grow. This led her to the beautiful world of massage. She left Steamboat Springs to attend the Denver School of Massage Therapy where she was trained in a range of modalities including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatzu, and many more. Her love for her work allows her to truly individualize each massage, therefore creating the best healing possible for the client. She truly is just a carefree, fun-loving person who loves what she does.
Brandon has been a licensed Massage Therapist for almost 5 years and has recently moved to Denver from Vail, CO. He has worked in both clinical and spa environments and has thrived in both. Having lived in Colorado for over 10 years, he is well acquainted with the more athletic lifestyles of many Colorado residents and the havoc some of these activities can unleash on the body. His method of massage blends several disciplines into what he calls the “what you need” massage. His training. combined with his intuitive touch and sense of balance, provide his clients with a massage that is both enjoyable and beneficial. He is often asked if he’s trained in Physical Therapy, as he relies heavily on NMT, Active release, assisted stretching and postural assessment when dealing with specific issues when necessary. These techniques and sensibilities, blended into a strong, warm, relaxing massage, affect clients deeply and thoroughly in a positive way.

Born and raised in Denver, Donna began a personal quest over 40 years ago, to understand, manage and increase her own health and well being without the dubious assistance of costly but accepted medical practices and prescriptions. Eight years ago, she founded Footopia, a center dedicated to assist others who are committed to self-responsible health strategies. Footopia specializes in self-help products (such as Emu oil and bio-algae), bodywork and coaching. Her passion is to help others attain their dreams, find their own route to wellness and in so doing release their healing energy to assist them on this path. Donna has found that reflexology sessions along with reiki and acupressure are non-invasive, work with the entire body’s functions, uplift the whole being and promote a good reflection of health needs. She continues to research healthy lifestyle and food choices, herbal and vitamin supplements and body movement. She also follows developments in laws and the health care industry to understand the accepted status quo in the area of health. She is certified in Reflexology and Acupressure. Additionally she is trained in Reiki, Thai Massage and Chinese Body Work and Magnified Healing. Her mantra is to “Help people help themselves to be in charge and win.” Donna is also retired from a successful career working with innovative companies (such as Tumbleweed Records and Otis Parsons Art Institute) to realize their vision, foresight, integrity and purpose. She has traveled in Brazil, southern Africa, the Philippines, Mexico and across Asia learning about local traditions and approaches to personal health management.
Yoga
In 2005 Daisy came to her mat thinking yoga would be a fun way to exercise.
After her first practice she felt a deep connection with her spirit, and the sense
of clarity and unity brought her back to the mat again and again. In 2010 she deepened her studies in a 200-hr teacher training program. Studying all styles of yoga her classes are mostly influenced by yin and restorative practices. Since then, Daisy has furthered her studies learning Ayurveda, the ancient healing system of India. Currently, Daisy is studying local herbs here in Denver. She is honored to share this path of yoga with you. Join Daisy on Saturday mornings for a free flowing class that focuses on healing and connecting the body mind and spirit.
