Medical Marijuana: SCC offers a variety of marijuana strains evenly divided among Sativas, Indicas and hybrids, which generally are blends of Indica and Sativa. Hybrids can also be made from only different Indica or Sativa strains. Tinctures: A potent form of medical marijuana extracted and used for oral consumption, tinctures were invented in the late 19th century. Tinctures are still a viable option for many herbal remedies, including medical marijuana. Tinctures can stay potent for up to two years.SCC offers both alcohol and glycerin tinctures. Edibles: The list of edibles available at SweetLeaf keeps growing. The cannabinoids in marijuana bond with fats and oils. Highly potent butters and oils are made by boiling or steeping the medicine in butter or oil for differing lengths of time. These butters and oils can then be used to cook foods. Any food using butter or oil can be made, including brownies, suckers, soups, chili, cheesecakes, and more. SCC is constantly searching for more amazing, potent edibles for our patients. Kief: The loose, dry resin glands of cannabis that accumulate on containers, in grinders, or with a kief screen is called kief. Kief is very potent because it contains a much higher concentration of psychoactive ingredients than other parts of the marijuana plant. Kief is mainly used to sprinkle on medical marijuana that is being smoked. It can also be smoked on its own.
Hash: Otherwise known as hashish, hash is the compressed stalked resin glands called trichomes. Hash contains higher concentrations of the cannabinoids found in other parts of the marijuana plant and comes in either solid or paste-like chunks of varying colors. Hash is generally smoked. Honey Oil: Getting its name from the deep honey color, honey oil is actually hash oil, close to pure liquid THC. A little of this golden treasure goes a long way. It can be smoked on its own or added to traditional medical marijuana to make it burn longer and slower. We here at SCC especially like using our Essential Vapes with this product.
